While cleaning up my hard drives this weekend, I came across a bunch of my old college artwork and I realized that almost none of it was on my blog! Did you know I used to draw and paint? I even animated pictures one pencil drawing at a time! Those were the days. I still wistfully look at my Wacom tablet now and then, but I’ve got too much on my plate at the moment to put it to use any time soon. Maybe next year I’ll put it to use again? Anyways, here’s some pictures to look at. I’ll get back to my regularly scheduled 日本語 this week.
- A quick sketch of a hot chocolate that was processed in Photoshop.
- Back when I was studying animation on paper
- 5 minute nu-pastel study from figure drawing class.

- A rather quick concept painting I did… with very little idea of what it was going to be until it was done.
- A digital painting I did back in the day when I couldn’t get enough of Final Fantasy.

- Playing around in Illustrator to get a feel for vector art, I decided to do a picture of the Blue Bomber!
- Behold! This one ain’t done on paper or even in Photoshop. This one is completely 3D (with a composited texture overlayed ontop for grit). Did this one over the course of some spare time in a week.
